Ogden Pizza used to make the best baked lasagna in town. Now it appears maybe the recipe has changed but it's so peppery I can't even eat it, and it might have a quarter of the cheese it used to. $4.00 now for a meatball...forget it. What a disappointment. It doesn't taste anything like it used to a year or so ago and I will never order it again.
Average sized place, more than a little disorganized, going to assume it makes most from delivery carry out. However the burgers were great and the pasta surpringly was spot on, cooked perfect al dente.. Quite impressed. Made me forgive the cold garlic toast. The atmosphere is horribly lacking tho looks like a gutted Humptys restaurant repurposed for a pizza place. Staff was kind and nice and food was above par
This has and as far as I can tell will always be the BEST pizza in town I've been eating it all my life and nothing ever compares hope nothin ever changes
I have been a resident of Ogden my whole life and have always put up with Ogden Pizza since Billy sold it many years ago. However, I have never been so disappointed by any service, ever! The server seemed completely incompetent. I waited 17 minutes after finishing my first beer before realizing I had to go to the front counter and ask for service, as she was too engrossed in her phone. This restaurant used to be a beloved spot in Ogden, where my grandparents used to frequent weekly many years ago. I understand that finding good help can be difficult and times are tough, but when I can't even get a second beer or any acknowledgment from the server, on a quiet Tuesday night at 7:30pm with no other customers in sight, it says a lot. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs. It is a letdown and the owners should either improve operations or sell the business to someone who truly cares about upholding the legacy of Billy's/Ogden Pizza.
