Moxie's Grill & Bar - Calgary

The second Monday has my group of professional Photographers invading this Moxie's location. We have been doing this for a few years now. Always arrive late in the evening as a boisterous and fun group.The staff always welcomes us with open arms, finding space for our changing group size. The waitresses looking after our table are amazing, despite the late hour, they are fun, smiling, efficient and helpful. Doing whatever they can to accommodate our groups needs. The food is a taste delight. after exploring the menu many times, I don't think there is an item we have not tried, we have not found anything to be a disappointment. It is not just well cooked and tasty, it always arrives looking fantastic. For photographers, this is nearly as important as the food. My personal favourite is the beef dip. Last night I shared the lettuce wrap and salt and pepper wings. Our group actually cleaned out their wings, Not a surprise I suppose, it was wings night. Last night the Manager Roy was also helping out. He is one of the most cheerful and accommodating Restaurant managers I have encountered, which should be notable since I travel a lot. I noticed the booths with just couples in was getting the same top shelf service we got, It appears to be as standard.

Visited this Moxies location because it was right in our hotel. Food was amazing - highly recommend the Ginger Teriyaki Rice Bowl! Husband had the Turkey Club. Kids meals were great too! Great service as well!

The food here is OK with a very limited menu and the prices are relatively high. We ate here twice and probably will not go back if we're in the area. On the up-side though, the staff, (our server was Rachel),were very friendly and efficient.

Big beautiful decor. No one has Bellini's like Moxie's (if you haven't tried them you must). I went because they are literally attached to the Sandman Hotel and that was super convenient in bad weather. Had a steak, they cooked it perfectly and the potato side was perfect too. This is a chain and the service is excellent, just no wow experience. Good for business meetings and perfect for groups especially if you're at this hotel.

My mom and I stopped in for a late supper after traveling all day. Wonderful service, great food, good atmosphere. If we're back through this way we will definitely be stopping back in.
