The steak was extremely tough, almost like a hockey puck—hard to chew and it felt like it had been pre-cooked and just reheated before serving. This was particularly unfortunate because I’ve always had better experiences at Montana’s. To make matters worse, the shrimp was overcooked. "Cook a tad longer" shouldn’t mean burnt! Overall, the meal wasn’t good and certainly not worth the price, especially given the decline in quality I've noticed. I doubt there will be follow-up on reviews or any changes made in response. I usually have a different experience at restaurants, but I don't see myself returning after this series of disappointing visits. Each time seems to get less enjoyable.
I was a bit disappointed with my recent order. There was a cut made in the middle of my steak, which is unusual. As both a home cook and a diner, I've always been taught to check the doneness of meat with a thermometer or by feel, not by cutting into it. This was my first experience at a restaurant where they cut into a steak to check the temperature. It seems like you might need to work on your cooking techniques. Additionally, my order was missing the potatoes and mushrooms. I hope you can address these issues in the future, as this is the third time I've ordered the same dish, and it's the first time I've encountered this problem.
The staff at this restaurant was fantastic, but unfortunately, the ribs were very dry. We ordered the all-you-can-eat option, but the ribs were disappointing each time. We showed the waitress our issue, and she kept apologizing, poor girl. We reassured her that it wasn’t her fault. Despite switching our plates three times, the ribs remained dry. We ended up deciding to pay her a tip of $10 to show our appreciation for her efforts.
This big bark rib was delicious. huge part, enough to feed two. the nativity was so delicate, we could slip the bone out. very tasty I recommend her apple wood smoked Bbq sauce. the fries were too crispy, a great cripple when they take a bite.
The server was nice. Food was just ordinary. Cozy place to stay. Steak was tough but ribs was awesome.
