Mio Stone Grill & Sushi - Calgary

Mio is a wonderful family run restaurant. They are very friendly and make you feel right at home. They sushi is excellent, and the lunch bento boxes are great value. For a real treat try their Moo Moo - an Alberta homage to sush. It is simply amazing.

We just pulled off HWY 2 and were feeling sushi and came across this place. Everything was excellent!!! Will hopefully be back again!

Surprisingly good and fresh food. Had the bento box for lunch -- good selection and options to make the box your own. Tempura was fresh and batter was light and crispy. Sushi was fresh and not rubbery. Soup was tasty with just the right amount of tofu. All in all, a very good meal. Definitely will be returning!

Family wanted Asian food so we opted for this place. It wasnt bad. Nothing to write home about. I had the combo meal and it was filling with good sized portions. The teriyaki was a tad salty for me. Just not the type of Japanese food I am used to.

I visit often with my family for a quick lunch or dinner. Their lunch portions are very large and definitely filling and worth the money. Dinner is also great, the fish is always fresh every time I've visited and they have great service as well.
