And as a server myself, the last time I checked you didn't have to cut the entire party off of you believed one single person was too drunk . After speaking my opinion on the service industry and laws surrounding preserve I had the oh so professional manager tell me "uh don't talk to me like that", so I asked for our bill and continued to deal with the manager not take anything I said seriously and laugh in my face as if I was too drunk to communicate even though I had been sipping on the same drink for the last 2 hours. Extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate to their usual customers. Don't go there, unless you want someone else judging how many drinks you can handle.
Time for a change ,you can get a better burger at any fast food place , a restaurant should have hand made patties not machine made . Lots of servers all busy with that more interesting customer,
My wife and i were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. We seated ourselves -- the place has a nice homelike feel to it. There is lots of seating kind of naturally separated in to 2 spacious dining areas ; each with lots of TV's. The menu had a lot of good choices -- we decided on the pizza from the lunch specials menu. We were not disappointed, the food was good and the pizza thick and full of toppings. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. Kudos to her -- the place started to fill ,and scattered around the restaurant, but she did very well keeping up the pace with a smile. In conclusion, the food was good, service excellent ,and comfortable seating -- we left content.
It's good but compared to when it was their Dad's place called Loui's Pizza in Brentwood Village Mall in the 70's and early 80's it was spectacular now it's OK but not like i used to be. Hard to say what's changed - I know the food has. The place is now a GOOD generic Pub and Restaurant but it's lost it's luster. I ordered take out last night and when it got here it was just OK. The prices are still good but for better pizza there's a place in Varsity that blows them out of the water now and the only reason I didn't go there was they don't deliver (they're dumb enough to use waiters en route) and lucky for me Madison's KNOWS better than to use those fools!Anyway and it's too bad because as a kid from 14 to 25 my credit card statements all showed hundreds of dollars spent at Loui's (like 3 times a week) They should have stuck with what worked .I'll be back of course but we'll dine in and see how it's going.
The waitress was great when we told her that we were going to the theatre after dinner. One had lobster mac
