I am not sure how this place getting five starsMy experience at this place was horrible, from service to food to timing.
The food here was very good, a little pricey, but not unreasonable.
Garlic naan, pakora, lamb curry, Chana masala and more. Much more. We preordered, popped into Sobeys next door to get some fresh fruit for dessert. Got an email back telling us when to pick up. Popped in, were pleasantly greeted, paid and off we went. Then we got home, laid it all out and just got into it. Perfectly spiced, great balance and rich flavouring in each dish. Butter chicken on coconut rice just topped the bill. Wow. Congrats to the chef and staff. This is a jewel that has a lot of sparkle and shine!Evanston - go out and support JP's - you will find they are well worth your attention.
Am always skeptical when trying a new place especially when its indian. In one word I was impressed. The quality of food was unparalleled to any other indian pakistani cuisines in Calgary. I had malai tikka and aloo naan. The price is reasonable considering the NW. The service was quick. The quantity was a lot. The place was clean. A good warm atmosphere.
