John's Breakfast & Lunch - Calgary

John’s Breakfast and Lunch was an amazing experience. Staff were super attentive and helpful! We got the chorizo omelette with the pancakes and the breakfast poutine. All dishes were amazing and the portion size was 100% worth the price. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good authentic breakfast spot in Calgary!

Stayed close to here during our stay in Calgary and honestly couldn't recommend a better diner. We came here each day of our visit for breakfast. The food, staff and atmosphere was amazing and we always left completely full. Could not recommend enough!

A lovely little spot with delicious, classic breakfast options and amazing staff. A family owned business that knows what it takes to keep people coming back. They have a nice little patio as well for those nice days! We have the classic breakfast, hubby had sausage and I had the bacon. Each equally delicious. Coffee is good and they were kind enough to brew some decaf for me. Support our local business owners and give this gem a try!

Absolutely love this place! Only been twice so far, but both times the food has been high quality, delicious, and had hearty servings! Huge fan of the Breakfast Poutine, I couldn't get it out of my head for about a month, hence the 2nd visit!Love the little patio outside, it's cozy without being cramped. Staff are lovely, and I was impressed that they were letting everyone know BEFORE putting in their order that the kitchen was a bit backed up, so it would be a bit of a wait, therefore giving them the option to leave if they wanted food quickly. Too many places don't do this.I was sad to learn that this place has been around since 2007 and I only just learned about it! Will definitely be making regular visits here.

This little hole in the wall NEVER disappoints! The wait time can be a little long because they're always super busy, but that's a good thing, right? Good portion sizes, great prices. And I LOVE that I can get a half sized benny, since I eat like a bird. The customer service is fantastic. And who doesn't love supporting a small family run business? Seriously, try this place out! Just maybe not on a Saturday morning when I'm waiting in line to get a seat ?
