Broth was flavourless, pork was flavourless, Chicken tasted very off. My onsen egg was missing the yolk and looked like a pile of you-know-what. Would not recommend.
Although the place and staff is nice, I did not like it. Noodles tasted like barilla pasta, with big clumps, miso broth was underwhelming, too salty but not flavorful. Pork was not tender, and the egg too runny. (More like almost raw). It’s not my first ramen in the city (and in general), and it was quite disappointing compare to other places I’ve been to.
So disappointed! I was greeted with the smell of sewer right at the entrance. The place was empty on a Friday night around 9:45pm, I should have left just by seeing that. I got the Mushroom Ramen which smelled, looked and tasted awful. The mushrooms werent tasty, the noodles tasted weird and broth was tasteless. The bowl had a unappetizing stench at a first glance. To be honest, you are better off buying cup noodles. I could not even finish it, i paid and left.
Ramen was a good price, and the broth was tasty, but overall mostly noodles with the biggest piece of pork mostly fat. Very simple with a tiny bit of greens and one egg besides noodles and pork. Had to wait 45 minutes for the ramen. Nice place but the dish was pretty boring and I didn't want to spend $10+ upgrading the dish.
I used to come here all the time. I haven't been in a while and ordered take-out tonight, but it was a bit of a letdown. Instead of the usual kale (which is listed in the menu and I paid for extra), they put green leaf salad in the ramen instead without prior warning. The garlic chips were missing, and even though I ordered one of the ramen spicy (again for which I paid extra), both came with the regular broth. I don't know if it was an off-night, but this was very disappointing.
