Humpty's - 130 Ave - Calgary

The dinner special was a small veal cutlet with mashed potatoes and either mixed vegetables or a salad. The cutlet was a too chewy and the vegetables were from a frozen packet and overcooked. It might have been better to order the side salad. This special also came with a very small bowl of chicken soup and a tiny bowl of ice cream for dessert. It was OK as I'm not a big eater but this plate would not have been enough for my husband. He ordered the liver dinner off the regular menu and said it was very good for liver! The portion size was much bigger just for a couple dollars more. The server was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was very clean and so was the washroom.

My husband and I both ordered the Ultimate Eggs Benedict. Service was prompt and friendly. Food came very quickly and the eggs were cooked to perfection!Decor inside was pleasant and overall a very family oriented venue. My biggest complaint is that some of the vinyl of the booth seating is getting worn and should be replaced soon.

I only go here sporadically, but when I do the service is impeccable! Humpty's food never really varies from place to place, so if you like it you'll like it.

We came by for a quick brunch. We were seated very quickly and the server was quick to take our beverage order. We ordered our food and water a reasonable wait our food arrived. The children loved the pancakes (mini pancakes and happy face pancake). My BLT on Rye was very tasty and included a small amount of french fries. My wife's poached egg was over cooked (was supposed to be soft but was hard), her bacon wasd cooked to perfection but the home fries were inedible. Pricing is a little on the high side for the quality of the food.

My wife and I went in one afternoon a while back. It was my first time in a Humpty's. I liked I could get breakfast when I did. The food was pretty good. No real complaints. I thought the place was a little dirty and a bit pricy for what it is. But okay.
