Haru Sushi and Grill - Calgary

Ordered some sushi rolls, their tempura, and their potato croquettes. Very fresh and tasty. Their rolls are a nice size as well.

I don't like sushi. Wife loves sushi.Every time I go in to get her sushi, greeted by very friendly staff, the food is made and given promptly and she says the quality is the best in the south.

A few months ago I wrote a fairly critical review of Haru. Since then we have had nothing but good experiences. Even had delivery 3 days in a row last week. My wife loves all of their tempura dishes and I have been very happy with their more classic nigiri sushi.Great place to check out.

What a great experience from walking in to enjoying the fresh delicious food. A friend and I came here never having tried it before and we were so pleasantly surprised. We arrived around 12:15 mid week and we were the only ones dining in! This is a hidden gem and the freshest sushi and sashimi i’ve ever had. The customer service was great as well! Lots of refills of tea and water, prompt service and so friendly and sweet. The prices are amazing as well! We will be returning a lot! We have been dining at this restaurant for many years. Nowadays, we mostly opt for takeout. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated significantly since the early days. However, the service is still satisfactory. I would recommend it for a casual takeout meal, but not for a special occasion.
