I know any time I 'm in the area my jeep will just go 'screech ' swerve stop outside now. They had a few 'pizzas by the slice to go ' which looked like mine but on a half crust. I had one w basil, ham, sausage, olives was great. Flavorful, thin crisp crust, fresh ingredients. I saw 10 ' and 14 ', my 10 ' took exactly 6 mins, was $10 cash plus they had a machine (won 't know if both debit visa but Zomato says 'cash only ' which might need updating). Fellow who served me was super friendly, people eating there looked very happy (very few seats), outside I saw standing bar tables only (eat run sort of thing). Super close to Community Health Foods, Coop Midtown, Tim Horton 's so in a great location. Didn 't see recent reviews they 've earned our support so am taking a moment to add an updated review. Enjoy! 4.5 stars from me only because I like my pizzas deeper fully loaded generally.<br/
This cozy little restaurant has a few tables but also offers takeout. The friendly owner, who hails from Europe, is very confident in their food, offering a refund if you aren't satisfied. Luckily, the pizzas are delicious! Personally, I prefer the 14-inch pizza as the crust is especially tasty. The pricing is a bit puzzling, as I would expect a larger pizza to be cheaper than two smaller ones, but it is actually more expensive. Despite this, my favorite pizza is the Mamma Mia and I will definitely be returning to try more varieties.
I give this place a perfect 5 out of 5 rating, I absolutely love it. You must visit and see for yourself. I consider it a hidden gem in Calgary. The owners, a very kind couple with years of experience in the industry, truly know how to make a great pizza.
I ordered two calzones which looked good. They were served with raw tomato/pizza sauce on the side, which was a bit strange. The calzones had a thick crust and were very cheesy with fresh ingredients. However, I was disappointed that the tomato sauce was not incorporated into the calzone itself, making it a bit dry inside. Despite being filling and reasonably priced at $10, the juices started dripping out from the corners, which was a bit off-putting. The crust wasn't as crispy as I had hoped, so that was a downside. I may give this restaurant another chance, as I've heard good reviews, and try their regular pizza and other items next time.
Finally stopped here and was not dissapointed. This little family owned pizza place is tucked away in the west corner of downtown. A total gem. The service was excellent and the pizza came out quick.<br/ <br/ We ordered the Signora Gaga and were not dissapointed. It was crisp tasty and the flavor combinations were excellent. Perfectly cooked. They have so many unique varieties. I can't wait to try them all. <br/ <br/
