Generally speaking, folks who are new to Indian food will judge a restaurant by their butter chicken. Although Feast of India offers an amazing take out deal on butter chicken, this is by no means their best stuff. Go for the buffet and you'll see! The fish pakoras were perfectly cooked, and I was pleasantly surprised by the Dal Makhani. Naan is made fresh when you arrive, and the various sauces offered with the buffet include a proper tamarind and a beautiful raita. This restaurant is WAY better for dine-in than take-out!
This used to be my families fav Indian restaurant. We just loved the food here, the place isn't the most cost efficient but it was worth every penny. They recently had a change in ownership and the cook has changed, the food just isn't the same anymore. So we won't be returning; which is totally heartbreaking because we thought we had finally found a place in Calgary that served authentic Indian food :(
We went there for dinner and food was very testy . will go back service was also good chef had smile on his face .
I met a colleague here for lunch, and was very pleasantly surprised with the service and food quality. I will definitely be back!
