Essence Restaurant - Calgary

We had breakfast with some colleagues during a conference and the service was nice and the food options for the buffet satisfying.

This is the in-house restaurant at the Westin Calgary (downtown.)

I often stay at the Westin and the consensus is, don't. Way too expensive and then some. And the menu is pretty pretentious and did I say expensive?

Food and service is always outstanding! Great selections of cold and hot food and omelette station is a big plus! Essence is a hidden gem and doesn't disappoint. All the service staffs are professional and engaging. Definitely coming back. Highly recommended.
