Great food exceeded expectations. I ordered a number of lunch options: pan fried dumplings, noodles, and green beans with garlic sauce. First bites of all dishes brought a smile to my face.Excellent — fried dumplings were especially tasty

Ordered the Dinner for 6, with Singapore noodles and Mongolian beef as an add on. Every dish was excellent and made fresh. We really appreciated that they were able to exclude green peppers as it is an allergy for 2 family members. This is our second time ordering takeout and have been happy with the quality and portions. Definitely recommend them for delicious Chinese meals and look forward to trying more dishes in the future.Dietary restrictions: Super happy they accommodated green pepper exclusion due to allergies.

I went to Emerald Garden a couple of times for dinners with family and friends. Sichuan boiled beef is highly recommended to those spicy lovers. It is a unique taste of spicy food. Bean curd rolls with mushrooms is a great dish too.

A very busy restaurant so reservations are definitely recommended. They offer authentic Chinese food here and the owners are fairly well known in the community. They've opened restaurants in the SW and SW Calgary before, and have literally gathered a following of supporters in the city, so dinner times (especially weekends) are almost always packed. We always try to book a table before we go.Food is great and the owners are great people. Staff are friendly and service is quick, as you would want from any good Chinese restaurants.Definitely one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in Calgary for sure!Parking: They have their own parking lot and some street parking. The Tim Hortons across the street closes early on some days, so it's okay to park there after 6pm on some days (check with the restaurant to be sure).
