Denny's - Calgary

When I found myself disappointed with the options my hotel had for breakfast when in Calgary, I decided that a familar chain restaurant would do the trick for a simple breakfast. Although I must say, yes while everything was good and standard, they make some damn good french toast!

Usual monthly gal brunch get together. Decided to give this Dennys a try. Service was good. I had one eggs benedict and shredded hash browns. That's it on a plate no garnish even a few flakes of parsley would have made it more appealing it would be nice if they left coffee carafes on the table like other breakfast places. We were in a back room and it was nice to be able to sit and chat longer. Parking was full. I think they could work on presentation/plating which would be more appealing.

I stayed at a hotel that was close by and the restaurant did not look appealing so I came here for breakfast. The one staff member that interacted with me was polite, service was fast and the food plentiful, albiet a bit on the fatty side. It was a clean spot but was surprised that even for breakfast, the prices were relatively high.

Ate here with friends on my recent trip to Canada. Two of us ordered breakfast and one had the burger. Service was good and the food was served hot and tasty. Good value for money

This particular Denny's has a lot of seating, the service is great! I particularly loved the Nachos here! I kept coming back night after night to savor the Nachos! I had other meals as well which were very good. They give a seniors discount for 55 and over. They have a counter for those who like to watch sports or other programming. I found the staff to be very friendly and accommadating.
