I'd say the flavor was decent, though nothing particularly remarkable. However, I appreciated the abundance of fruit on the menu. We dined here during the pandemic, and they maintained social distancing between tables, which made us feel safe and comfortable. Overall, it was a nice visit.
The ahi poke, however, was poorly plated and lacked the grilled pineapple. When I asked the waitress about it, she sent it back to the kitchen, and it returned looking like a completely different dish, now better plated with some sauce! That was a bit strange. Unfortunately, the tuna didn't taste fresh and lacked flavor, especially without the grilled pineapple and the spicy mayo sauce that came later. I would give it a 9/10. My friend ordered a breakfast dish that I tried— it was very basic and something you could easily make at home. Nothing about it stood out as delicious enough to make me want to return for it, although it was filling enough that she couldn't finish the whole thing, so I’d give it a 7/10. I also tried their overpriced cream puff swan, which was delicious and had a mysterious purple filling hidden underneath the whipped cream. However, at $5.50, it wasn't worth it; a more reasonable price would be $4.00 for what was literally three bites.
An group of us went there for a birthday party. Central sharing we ordered wine and coconut shrimp with mango sauce Great choice, used our cards to go and order individual mains. I had BBQ pork ribs fall off the bone tender, 1/2 rack was lots, and lots of veggies as well. Wife had a squash soup came with a ho hum but but we split a cheese bisquit that was to die for, and she ordered salmon unable to eat it all after the soup. Easy to pay, great service and a birthday piece of cake gratis.
The service was good when I walked in on a Saturday evening at 6:45PM, as I was explained how things worked. I ordered the Southern Crispy Chicken Sandwich which cost $17.95 and a piece of Pecan Pie at a cost of $6.50. Both were very average, I doubt I would have this again.
The quality of food has gone down and it's a shame cause I love the set up of this place. I hate the fact they give you precooked chicken warmed up and served on top of watery pasta super disappointing. It was a little confusing on getting the food and it was over priced considering the quality of the chicken it had a weird taste to it. I wouldn't recommend the dish. I wish they made the food fresh I feel it would improve it so much more. And maybe adding new menu items would help. If your going for a small coffee and dessert then I think it's fine but as for dinner don't expect much.
