Chianti Cafe - Calgary

The service at this restaurant was very disappointing. We visited on a Thursday afternoon when the restaurant was not busy, yet we waited over an hour for our food. It seemed that regular customers were served first and received better service. Our server did not even offer a smile and appeared to be annoyed. While my drink arrived promptly, my colleague waited over an hour for her decaf coffee. It wasn't until we spoke to the manager that our food appeared quickly. It is worth noting that the food was delicious, so credit to the kitchen for that.

Really enjoyed our early dinner here. The location is really good with great ambience. Outdoor seating is also available and can be a good choice if it's not too hot. Our waitress was super lively and recommended some amazing pastas. She even helped us makesome combos possible by changing few items here and there. They were pretty accommodating and determined to serve good food. Theplace gets crowded pretty fast so try and make prior booking before coming in. Overall a great experience with amazing Italianfood.

I called in an order for takeout and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived, I paid for my order and then had to wait an additional 25 minutes. The manager eventually brought out the food with no apology for the delay. Once I got home and opened the container, I noticed that there was no garnish and the dish looked very saucy. I had ordered the chicken Alfredo, but there was only a teaspoon of chicken in the dish. Additionally, the pasta was undercooked, chewy, and doughy.

Consistently delicious! I have been going to the Crowfoot location for as long as I can remember and recently started visiting the Willow Park location. My friends and I choose Chianti's because they can accommodate allergies. The meals and service have always been top-notch. Even during busy times, we have received friendly and efficient service. My go-to is the spinach salad, which is delicious. I highly recommend it as a change from the usual Caesar salad. I also tried the Mare e Monte linguini, which came with a perfect portion of scallops, peas, and mushrooms. The sauce was light with a strong garlic flavor. The pasta was cooked perfectly. It's a great spot for a simple Italian meal that is family-friendly. We will definitely be returning!

My family has come into this facility for over 10 years and it has never failed us. the service is amazing and eating is together with their favorable trips to die. this place never surprises the people we bring for the first time, and they always fall in love with their food. best restaurant in kalgary!
