Central Grand Restaurant - Calgary

Alright, Chinese Asian mini mall; consists of a market, stationery store and other miscellaneous shops all bunched into this 2 level building.

OK, we were here on Sunday, so everything a little slow to come. I would think there are a few health violations. Overall food was good but slow and surly.

The place was packed for lunch since it was on a Sunday. But we only had a short wait and it was well worth it. The shrimp dumplings were so tasty. Everything came out hot. There were so many varieties that we just couldn't try them. Service was great.

Went there for dim sum but there after the lunch rush hour. The food was good but the selection was very limited.

Disappointed with the quality of the meal. Basic dishes were poorly executed. Customers that may be used to typical mall Chinese food may be impressed but others will not be. Decor is nicer than most and the wall of fame was quite impressive. This may have been during the reign of a different chef in the kitchen.
