Break The Fast Cafe - Calgary

A simple breakfast spot with tasty food and a cozy atmosphere. Nothing extraordinary, but still enjoyable. I ordered the two-egg breakfast with bacon and it was satisfying.

The Ukrainian and traditional breakfast at this restaurant was excellent. The service was good and the food was served promptly. The coffee was surprisingly good as well.

This was the first Canadian meal we had and the service did not disappoint. The server was extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring my coffee was refilled promptly.

Very nice fellow served us, may have been the owner? This is a good breakfast spot a bit off the beaten path in Calgary's downtown. Funky 'shabby chic' sort of decor, and great grub. Filling and delicious, be sure to try the hollandaise sauce. My only complaint? In this day and age, if you have a good espresso machine (and this place does,) learn how to make a good micro foam. The cappuccino I ordered was pretty bad. Still, highly recommended.

Food is mediocre - but service is TERRIBLE. The waitresses are rude. Please avoid this place. I am a breakfast lover and would say that there are plenty of good places around this location. So please DO NOT spend your hard earned money by eating here.
