Boston Pizza - Calgary

We drop in for eats and drinks at least once a month, and honestly we're never disappointed. Let's face it, it's a franchise restaurant, and the personal appeal for me is the consistency in everything they do.That consistency includes staff training.Servers in Calgary typically stink, but BP'S is usually right on point with service.Good food.Fun games.I recommend it.

We are regulars at the BP's especially for wing night We were informed the wing prices would change from $3.5 to $6 for wing night but they now include veggies (2 pieces, yes 2) and dip now. Wow so same number of wings but you get veggies and dip for almost 100% more. rip off. To make it even more unappreciated the wings are now smaller and less tasty. BP you blew it with this decision. There are far to many surrounding restaurants now with reasonable wing night and better drink prices now. Trying to capture more profit with higher prices I suspect will backfire dramatically. Too bad, we enjoyed it, but will no longer go back.

We ordered out and had it delivered, the order was missing part of the meal. We phoned and talked with the Manager on duty Oy), he said the he would send an email with an promotional code for off our next purchase by...the end of the night. It is now days later and no email. I had to spell the email address to him twice and he repeated it back to me. I am not surprised as this is typical for this location. I do NOT RECOMMEND this location.

We came here for dinner during our long weekend trip to Calgary. We expected high prices as that is the norm at BP's but they have a kids meal promotion on now where if you make a $5 donation you get 5 free kids meals with a purchase of $16 or more, which is an unreal deal for BP's. The starter nachos are quite large but had tiny little cups of salsa and sour cream, not nearly enough for even half of the nachos. The pizza and wings were good. I ordered the 8oz steak cooked medium and it came well done, it didn't have any trace of pink at all however it tasted alright so I didn't send it back as I didn't want to wait for another one to be cooked.

We ordered four meals and of the four, one had a dead bug and the other had hair baked into it. I was hesitant to go because the last time we were there (well over a year ago) the silverware and glassware was dirty. Service was weak, however, the manager was quick to apologize and promptly removed the items from our bill. I doubt that I'll be heading back anytime soon.
