Boardwalk - Calgary

Luckily I checked my order before leaving , I refused the order and demanded my money back . Totally gross and undercooked greasy dripping fries .

Food is excellent. No complain there. But staff some times is hit or miss. Sometimes they are friendly and attentive but one time I ordered chilli fries with no cheese and got fries with double the cheese and no chili . It was a to go order and the place had closed when I got home so nothing could be done.

First time here. Saw a lot of old negative reviews but also saw it was under new management. We decided to give it a shot and really enjoyed it! So refreshing to be in a clean and tidy fast food joint! Really good shakes, decent burgers and yummy jalapeno cheese fires. It was on the pricey said though. Will come again.

I was there Saturday, October 13th around 6pm. I ordered a burger and onion rings to go. The 2 on staff were clearly overwhelmed with clients (and amazing), as they had a bunch of people coming in at the same timebut they went out of their way to help (everyone) in there at the time around 12 17 people. As I waited about 20+ minutes after ordering, they handed out a few free burger coupons due to this, which is above and beyond what they needed to do. Very impressive. Great burger, and awesome onion rings! I will be back

Boardwalk Fries have popped up on the Western Canadian skylines and from they exterior design I had expected a similar experience to other “garage” cafeteria style burger establishments. Definitely pre-prepared and packaged foods assembled by unskilled workers that are marketed to a higher end burger establishment clientele.
