Bistro Marcel - Calgary

The food and drinks are not worth the high prices charged at this restaurant. The atmosphere feels more like a dull office cafeteria.

The restaurant is new and wasn’t very busy. I had the chicken and it was amazing. It is located on the second floor of a new hotel. It is basically on the +15.

Best Calzones in town! Marcel recently moved from a hidden basement location to a more cheery location next door in the Chevron building. He used to close his doors if he was catering on a given day. Being told you couldn't have a calzone when you had a hankering for one left you wanting one all the more. For his new location he has hired more staff and I haven't been shut out yet! The Greek salad dressing is the best I've ever had. Could drink it through a straw. Don't lean on the glass and move in an orderly fashion!

I would have never walked into this restaurant on my own, it's tucked away in a corner and totally unnoticeable.

Good lunch good value! Buffet is ok but pizza and sandwiches are awesome. Try the power bowls
