Barlow Bistro and Bar - Calgary

I came down to grab a sandwich to take up to my room. I ordered the Chicken tikka masala sandwich on Naan. It was fantastic! They have a Tamil chef in the back and they know how to make a mean sandwich with a kick!I plan on grabbing dinner there again tomorrow.

This is a nice little restaurant in the hotel lobby. The food was very good. We ate lunch there. It is open for breakfast and dinner as well. The problem was that service was very slow despite the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty. I can't imagine if it wee busy.

The Bistro & Bar in the hotel was very conveinient for us. You could have your breakfast there as well. The service at the Bistro was ok. The staff seemed to be very busy with the people sitting at the bar and tended to forget that we were in a booth .The staff on the breakfast side were very good and helpful and service was good. Perhaps they were shortstaffed inthe evening. The food was ok

We just had lettuce wrap appetizer and duck confit. Excellent! As good as any place or better. A great chef. Entree vegetables done to perfection. A sign of a chef who really cares. I would come here for a fine meal again on a heart beat. Compliments to James!Mel

This restaurant is part of the courtyard Marriott... We were staying at the residence Inn which is attached and we didn't feel like driving so we went down to this restaurant to have a bite and a drink. It looks beautiful but it's absolutely dead and there was only one waitress working and it just seemed to not really have any selection or variety. It seemed more like they had a bit of a cafeteria in the back and that's where they were serving you from. Definitely go across the street to Moxie's or Chop instead.
