Land and Fire - Caledon

This little gem of a restaurant blew us away.The food was out if this world, tasty, so fresh and portions were perfect. Don't skip dessert the peanut butter and jam crem brûlée was amazing. The owner and chef visited each table to be sure we were satisfied. The wait staff more than made us fell at home.

This place is amazing. They serve local food, from local farmers and they do it so well. I've been for brunch and dinner and it's been fabulous every time. The chef sources local meats and veggies from farmers in the areas. All the food is phenomenal and the service is great too! It's become a bit of a go to spot for me espeically when I have friends in from out of town. The outside makes it look a bit like a hole in the wall but it is totally worth it.

Amazing food and service so sad it closed it makes no sense it was always busy and several times had to go elsewhere because we didn't have a reservation please re-open somewhere close by

We chose this restaurant primarily for location as it was the halfway point on a trip to Blue Mountain. We were blown away by the food and hospitality. It felt like home, Josh and Chihara couldn't have been more gracious. We lingered for a few hours and had a wonderful business meeting and then dined on some incredible food. The presentation was spectacular, they stocked my favourite, hard-to-find cider, the jerk chicken was mind blowing and during our stay a local farmer dropped off some freshly picked vegetables. Josh says he's often asked what seasoning he puts on the vegetables because they taste so good and often he just adds salt and pepper and a bit of butter. That's what fresh and local tastes like. We will be back!!

The meal was exceptional and I'm sad that I didn't do this review earlier.We ordered the mussels and a Caesar salad with candied bacon as our starters. They arrived both at the same time and were beyond what we expected. For our mains, we both ordered the land and fire burger. It was amazing!!!!!!!! Definitely worth it. And will be returning.
