Los Beto's Mexican Food - Caldwell

We ordered three things from the menu, but it was quite disappointing. The carne asada fries were soggy and cold. The burrito lacked flavor, and we didn't even touch the tacos because we had to return through the drive-thru to get them. The salsa was excessively spicy without any real flavor; it felt like it was made just to burn her mouth without adding any additional aroma. Overall, we were very disappointed with this place.

It seems that the quality of the food at this restaurant has significantly declined. The food was never exceptional, but it was decent enough. Today, I ordered the fajita mix plate and the shrimp tasted like it was leftover from days past and had a rubbery texture. The tomatoes and peppers were burnt and had an unpleasant acidic flavor, so I doubt they were fresh. I managed to choke down a few bites and sip on my drink, but otherwise, it was just gross! $14 for such a disappointing meal? No thanks! We won't be returning.

I would like to share my thoughts on my recent experience at the restaurant. Although the lady kept asking if I was ready to order before I had finished reviewing the menu, I still gave a 5-star rating because my order was accurate and delicious.

It costs $30 for the fajitas and the nachos. we have no more. and it was horrible! I don't know why we're trying this. that's pretty consistent for every time we're ever gone. the fajitas were as old tasting and overcooked as usual. you could barely chew meat and garnel. it was also super salty. the nachos were old tasting and soggy as if they were sitting in the counter for hours before we even ordered them. so disappointing! Don't waste your money!

The food is excellent and portions are large. Service is fast and friendly with no mistakes. It's my usual go-to while working in the area. The Machaca Breakfast Burrito is on point with some green sauce. So is the shredded beef burrito. You won't be hungry after. I just wish I could eat inside, but it's drive-thru only.
