Toppers Deli - Calderdale

Wanted some lunch before hospital appointment so thought to try here. Great idea, where to start, staff really very helpful and kind, sat outside so they brought the food outside for me. All staff keen and friendly, quite busy, lots having take aways though. would...definitely come back again. Lots of choice I had a smoked salmon toasted bagel with cream cheese, absolutely delicious.

Found this little gem on a recent shopping trip will go again. Covid regulations in place and felt so safe ordering, the ladies on the counter were so welcoming and warm and I felt like I’d known them years! They explained how to...use the (amazing) looking fresh self serve salad bar showed me round the menus. There is literally anything for anyone here! All fresh made to order, even a cake counter. I went for a messy Mexicana which was thick cut perfectly cooked chips with lots of chilli loaded on top with cheese and some sour cream etc. So good for the money I had a smoothie too. Staying local has always been so important to me but even more so given the circumstances! We need to keep these little family run places in business and I will be recommending to all my friends and family for sure! Keep up the good work guys, see you soon x

Four times over several weeks I ordered a jacket potato with baked beans... where were the beans? I literally got one table spoon of baked beans and I think for the extravagant price I paid the portions are small and that doesn’t just apply to...beans! Big prices, small portions and ok food.. this place used to be the best place for lunch in Halifax and it’s gone down hill seems they only care about the profit these days, it’s a shame really

I’m a regular here, is very close to work, food is very good and the ladies are very attentive. Great service! I have to try not to go so often or my waistline would double! If you go on a Friday enjoy the freebie hash...brown, which’s a very nice touch. Keep up the good work guys.

First class service from someone who is an obvious natural at her job... I think her name was Nicola. I'm a business coach and it baffles me how many people involved in retail just do not engage in the correct way with their customers. It's...the customers that pay your wages at the end of the day. Fantastic service and a fantastic sandwich from a very popular shop near the Victoria theatre in Halifax. Thanks again Nicola a textbook example of great customer service....
