The Robin Hood Inn - Calderdale

I’ve been going for a few years and never had a bad meal staff are amazing food amazing absolutely love it! Keep up the amazing work

We waited almost an hour for our food when it arrived, I was very disappointed. The cheese burger can hardly be called a cheese burger it was cremated mini burgers, hard as rocks, in between a toasted hard bun with a smattering...of burnt cheese. No lettuce, no tomato, nothing else. I ate half of one of the burgers before giving up making a chip butty instead. I would have sent the food back if I wasn’t so hungry after waiting minutes for it to arrive. The rest of my party weren’t as disappointed but described the food quantity as but the food quality The staff were friendly the atmosphere was fine, but based on the food alone, I will not be returning.

Just had another takeaway from the Robin (my local pub) Holroyd's Hunter Chicken and a fish pie. Really good, as ever. Still got half the fish pie left, as it was enough to feed two. The chicken was a huge breast, wrapped with bacon...that could have passed for ham! Highly recommended to tide you over lockdown. Let's hope it can open again soon for the much-missed Steak Nights.

Had a wonderful evening with friends. We all enjoyed delicious food and received excellent service at our table. We will definitely be returning and will recommend this place to others!
