Gelataria Do Geres - CALDAS DO GERÊS

On Gerês you don't have a huge choice of restaurants. If you want to eat some traditional food there are other restaurants around, but it will be more expensive. If you just want some burger or pizza this is the place to go. Clean, has wifi, has good choices for deserts, and its not expensive.

Nothing too fancy but it has a very nice space where you can sit and relax, enjoy a coup of coffee and an Ice-Cream, very cool place to take the kids and rest for a bit. Did not try it but the menu had a lot of simple food, pizzas, burguers, etc at very reasonable prices, but since we did not try we don´t know the quality. All in all is good for a quick visit to rest after strolling trough the village

It's definitely a cheap place... where the pizza was around 6€. However the food was not the best as you can expect. Ice cream was probably the best in there. The waffle with ice cream was nothing special... the bread with garlic well, I'm not even sure if it had garlic... try to make it your last choice.

We just had some coffees and ice creams. Regular ice cream that you can buy at many other places. The waiters were not very nice, no smiles...

Um espaço de aspeto limpo e algo minimalista, ocupando um espaço central na vila do Gerês. Serviço simpático e uma grande gama de refeições leves, sobremesas, gelados, bebidas e cafetaria variada. O hambúrguer estava saboroso e os crepes eram bastante bem servidos. Recomendo a Poesia de Café com gelado de chocolate do Equador! Ideal para uma visita descontraída durante a tarde ou para um cafézinho depois do jantar.
