Punkt - CALDARO SULLA STRADA DEL VINO

Centrally located with indoor/outdoor seating. Lots of local wines to try. There isn't much info in English about this area and we couldn't figure out if there were tasting rooms at local vineyards. Punkt and a couple other places allowed us to try the wines anyhow. There was a great wine shop down the road too.

This has a great location at the bottom of the square and is brilliant for a mid afternoon light meal. They only serve wine so beware if its a beer you want. The menu is a selection of local meats and cheese along with simple pasta dishes so perfect for a light meal. Very comfortable both inside and out so ideal what ever the weather . highly recommended

Situated right on the main square of the village Caldaro (Kaltern), this wine bar offers you the opportunity to try out wines of the region. They have a wine list which changes by the day apparently. I had a Lagrein, one of the most expensive on the list and it was really good. To accompany the wine, you can order some light snacks or dish of the day. A change from eating at restaurants all the time. We sat outside but the seating inside looked interesting too.

Sehr nette Bedienung, Kleinigkeiten zum Essen, im Mittelpunkt steht der Wein. Wenn man verschiedenste Weine glasweise probieren will perfekt. Und dann sitzt man draußen so traumhaft schön. Richtig gut.
