Dee's Thai Lao Restaurant - CALAMVALE

We ordered takeout from this restaurant and found the service to be friendly, fast, and easy to communicate with. The meals were fresh and delicious. Although we have not dined in, the restaurant appears to be nice and clean.

The restaurant offers a great selection of authentic dishes with high quality. The staff is friendly and service is prompt.

The worst thai food I've had in Brisbane. $20 thai seafood salad only has 3 prawns and 3 pieces of squid, the rest are all lettuce, onion and clear rice noodle, and lack of favour. The basil stir fry tastes too sweet. Fried rice is very oily. service is good but I wont go back.

We have dined there several times and the food has always been good. This time, the food was good (when it came) and the service was non-existent. One of our party ordered a dish with noodles only to be told 20mins later that they didn't have any noodles and would he like to choose a different dish. By this time the rest of us had our meals (all of which came out at different times) near enough to finished. Finally after all the mains had been eaten, I went to ask for a menu to order desert. When we had chosen what we wanted, we waited and waited and waited for someone to take our order but the young girl at the counter seemed not interested so we paid the bill and left. They need to lift the game or they wont be around much longer with the number of alternatives available. It will be a long time before we go back.

Authentic Thai flavours, service is acceptable, cost is reasonable. Ok for a quick night out if you really enjoy Thai food.
