Australian's Pizza - Calais

Within one minutes walking distance from the superb Holiday Inn in Calais. Look out for the moped on the pavement! Toppings are very french, but you can also ask for a simple Margarita off the menu. You have a choice of Solo, Double or Mega sizes. I think the Mega is 41cm in diameter and even defeated my pizza munching teenage son. Open from 6.30pm to 10ish every evening. You can also order dessert if you're still hungry! Owners don't speak English, but are super friendly and were very patient with my school-girl French/mime. If you need chips, there's a cracking frite van on the corner of the square and an amazing wine merchant (next to the laundrette) who speaks very good English and sells local cider to wash your spontaneous alfresco supper down with

We were staying overnight in Calais after a Xmas at Disneyland and needed food.Didn't fancy the hotel menu so went to this little take away.The staff were friendly and helpful, our pizza was delicious, the wedges were crispy.what more can you say? 5 out of 5

But they are not Australian! LOL Pizza was some of the best we've had. ate it out on the town square.

Good simple food ,cooked by happy people.handy for that summer evening take it to the beach with a couple of bottles of vino d,collapso and chill wilst the sun goes down

We ordered from our hotel on the edge of Calais at 9pm. They said fine yes etc. At after 10 PM they called us back to say that we were outside of delivery range and no delivery possible. I said I'd be willing to pay extra since I had no transportaion and it being after 10 no way to get dinner, and they refused.
