Sandwich Man - Calais

I had the 6” Lobster Roll which was delicious and made to order! No mayo anywhere just pieces of fresh lobster on a freshly baked roll with lettuce tomato (only $12.99 too)!! My husband ordered the 12” Belly Buster ‍ and he loved it! We brought our sandwiches home to eat but they had a wonderful yard with 6 or 7 pretty picnic tables to enjoy your lunch on. There was a constant stream of customers and most of the outside tables were full, this was 2:30ish on a weekday. A lot of people coming in to p/u “to go” orders that they had called in and there were a half dozen inside tables as well. We’d definitely find a reason to make a return trip even though it’s 30 minutes away.

I have been meaning to stop by next time I'm in Calais. Made my way across the border from St Stephen NB, on my way to Florida and pulled in for a sandwich for my long drive. I made up my mind to try the lobster roll. What a great surprise, the best in the area. I'm fairly picky, I will come back for more.
