Grapevine Restaurant - Calabash

The worst dining experience of my life! The owner is living in the 80’s. He thinks the louder the music, the better. My steak arrived burnt! They did take it back brought me another. But the veggies were cold the mushroom topping was so salty I couldn’t eat it. After we paid, we stood to leave I took the opportunity to tell the owner he was missing a beat. That it wasn’t good, with the loud music that maybe he was living in the 80’s with the loud music!!! He screamed at me, “F” Go somewhere else! I said, don’t worry, I will!!!!

I come in from Michigan all the time. Don't skip out on this place. AMAZING

We go here every time we visit our friends in Calabash and the food is consistent and wonderful! Great wine selection, fresh seafood and delicious dishes every time. Mac and his team always make it an enjoyable evening and we highly recommend!

We have lived in the area since 2001 moving from the north. We found this restaurant early in our life at the beach and it has never disappointed us. We celebrated Valentines Day early at the Grapevine and again it did not disappoint us. Both our food and server were excellent and we had a great night out. If you have never been to the Grapevine, you need to give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Besides literally choking... Ugh. But I 'm alive, the food was delicious. This place was amazing. Owner, so full of energy bartender so sweet. We will be back. It was a whole vibe at closing time.
