Gad 26 July - Cairo

I left twice. typical dinge to eat are tamiya, foul, babaganouch, tahini, humus. it is more expensive then on the road, and less good. but it's okay. the menu is only Arabic.

Gad is always very busy, so be careful. there is a sitting area in the upper floor, but we didn't try that. we ordered falafel and hummus in the pita, although they also have full that would be vegan-friendly. at gad order them first, in the cash register (and are severe men before them left and right cut), they get their entrance, and take it into the food preparation area behind them while they make it before location and back to them. the menu is in Egyptian, so I am not sure what other types of things they offer if any Arabic reader out there would translate some of it that would be great! but if they were cheap (and I mean cheap) eat in a hurry, head after gad.

The staff is professional and the service is pleasant and the food smells and tastes good. It's mainly an oriental cuisine, yet there's a variety of dishes for those looking for something else. It's often crowded so won't be fitting if you're looking for some place quiet.
