Wing On Chinese Take Away - Cairns

Happened to find this restaurant on our way back to the hotel. Ordered curried chicken and combination short soup and it was delicious. The curry was like an old fashioned curry that i used to get years ago. Take away only restaurant, man behind the counter was very friendly an d helpful. Couldnt fault the meal we had

Had Wing On last night for the first time. It was reasonably good Chinese food no complaints from us. The service was reasonably quick for a Friday night the staff friendly. Wing On is really a take away restaurant not a sit down restaurant.

The food at this restaurant was terrible. The duck was lacking in meat and was coated in a thick, sticky batter that was supposed to be crispy. This dish was supposed to be lemon duck, but it was a complete disaster.

Wanted a quick and yummy Chinese after a day sightseeing. Got exactly what we wanted, ordered sweet and sour pork, beef and black bean and a fried rice. Really enjoyed it, would go again.

Have been getting takeaway for years from them, always good. The service is usually quick but easier if you ring ahead. Yum.
