Rexs Breakfast & Burger Bar - Cairns

We were informed at the Shangri La Villa that we could access free wifi at the restaurant, but the staff seemed clueless about wifi when we asked. We would have stayed for breakfast if they had offered this service. It's surprising that food establishments don't provide something as basic as wifi, which can influence customers' decisions to dine in.

We have eaten here on a number of occassions and we are always happy with our choices, the fish and chips and burgers are always nice and fresh and very tasty, we have told all of our friends about the cafe and we will return, 10/10

When we first arrived at our hotel, the receptionist highly recommended this place to us and it was very disappointing to say the least. I tried the burger and chips and had breakfast one morning and it was very sad.

Was looking for a quick cheap breakfast place nearby and the other reviews made it worth trying.One of the professional tv crew fishing show boats was there picking up meals before they headed out for the day.I had the mixed breakfast, sausage, eggs bacon tomato which was fine. Not greasy and did the trick. Coffee was pretty ordinary but I didnt expect it to be anything special.All up $13.30.It is what it is, cheap, quick and ok food if that's what your'e after.

This is not a fancy cafe , But they make a good breakfast for the price and a lot of the taxi drivers go there so it is good, clean food and great for the budget person. This place is on the main road in Sheridan street, cairns.
