Bought prawns[supposedly fresh] I think Noah might have had them in his deep freeze, dont bother unless you can have a taste before purchasing their "freshfood." they were inedible unfortunately I was returning home shortly after visiting the café otherwise I would have returned the rubbish that I was sold as fresh from their trawler.

We had the sharing plate for 2.. WOW!!!!! Bugs, prawns, calamari, fish n chips, and the best damn beetroot salad I've ever had. We's just arrived from NZ, hubby wanted to see the museum, and I spotted the caravan.. and we are both glad I did! Chantelle was delightful and very informative about things to see and do in the region.

Our Oceanwild cafe is a unique place with a absolutely delicious gourmet lunch menu. With a kid friendly atmosphere, plenty of seating area to enjoy under our huge marquee. Aswell a full range wholesale seafood market. Direct from the fishing vessel Oceanwild. MSC certified. Located at the Australian armour artillery museum grass area Caravonica Cairns. Next to the Skyrail and Tjapuki. Our customers love that our product is ocean to plate. So come & tantalize your taste buds, you won't be disappointed. Hope to see you soon :-).

I was recommended to try Oceanwild Cafe by a local, and it was truly a great find! After dining at some of the best restaurants in Palm Cove, I can say that the seafood at Oceanwild Cafe was exceptional. My partner and I enjoyed a seafood platter with bugs, prawns, and oysters for lunch, followed by half a dozen oysters Kilpatrick. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. Oceanwild Cafe is now one of my favorite spots for delicious and affordable seafood.

We are from South Africa and had lunch at this restaurant. We ordered a platter for two which included fresh oysters. We highly recommend it as the prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly.
