Newell Street Cafe - Cairns

Just newly established, this place provides coffee lovers with the best caffeine money can buy. The roast their own coffee on site and also provide a nice choice of Panini Toasted sandwiches if you are hungry. The place has a rustic ambience about it and the staff are very friendly. They also provide tours and instructions plus equipment to brew your own coffee at home. There is not much these guys don't know about good coffee!

Exceptionally good coffee at this secluded cafe in Cairns' Industrial suburbs. The perfect serving temperature, and the delicate and subtle flavours of the roast make you want a second one before you leave.The decor and fit out of the cafe has a Naval and mariner theme, with groovy tunes and a friendly feel.Beans are roasted on site by former Australian Navy sailor Ian, and you can really see he is driven by a love of good coffee. 'BZ' as I think they say.

Located on Villefranche's picturesque coastline overlooking the harbor, Newport offered us a fantastic dining experience on a gorgeous summer day.

The four of us ordered the steaks and found them to be delicious, although a bit expensive at 23 euros. However, the stunning view that comes with sitting right along the water made it worth the price.

We went for a leisurely drive through several small towns in search of a seaside restaurant for lunch. It was a beautiful afternoon.
