You have to give it to Harry he is not afraid to step up, he was cooking today had a crew work kitchen and front of house and a selection of what I think is his best dishes the surrounding area different but the food is all Harry and he has a few good wines. It’s just so great to order your food and hear it cooked and serve and piping hot, so good. The Penang Duck Curry, Short soup, and Garlic pancake yum.
A very popular restaurant with pleasant clean surroundings. The food was nice and reasonably priced.
We went out to dinner here and had a great meals lovely service and we will definitely come back I would recommend the Singapore Noodles and the beef with black bean sauce very nice
Nearly didn’t try this because of negative reviews, so very pleasantly surprised! It’s a far cry from food court Chinese subtle flavours, fresh ingredients and sauces clearly ‘made in the moment’ when the dish was ordered. Shao Mai dumplings, Kung Pau chicken, spring rolls and Char Kwai Teow all delicious, accompanied by steamed rice. The menu helpfully marks dishes with a little flag, warning of those dishes that are cooked the traditional Chinese way. If Aussie style Chinese is your preference, it might disappoint, I’m not sure on that, but we really liked the food. The staff were lovely, attentive and professional. $89 for 2 with a drink each.
Really good chinese food with a great atmosphere and attentive staff. A lot of chinese food tastes really strong from msg and cheap bought in stocks but cafe china tastes like real food and you dont get that sick feeling when you leave. I have eaten here many times and have not been disappointed and will continue to eat here when I get the chance.
