Spoons Cafe - CAIRNS CITY

We just happened to walk past this cafe and thought we would try it for a quick lunch, our expectations were fairly low. We both ordered the cajun chicken salad and it was quite frankly one of the best salads we have eaten. Full of flavour and full of delicious ingredients too. Very friendly staff, free wifi and good value for money. We would highly recommend eating here, great cafe, delicious food.

Stumbled upon this little cafe and was really impressed by the reviews already left and would have to agree that everything about this little gem is great. Relaxed laid back atmosphere, our food was probably the best we'd had on our trip so far. Went back the next day to sample the soy latte and wasn't disappointed! Top it all off with friendly service, would go there again!

This is a lovely little cafe and has a delicious and different breakfast and lunch menu, also does catering which is always a crowd pleaser, definitely worth a visit and if you are planning an event have a look at the catering menu it is lovely.

Needed to grab an early coffee before catching train back to Brisbane. Found this place by accident. Its not a flash looking place, but very clean and good service.Watching those coming and going looked like it was popular with the locals. We were certainly happy with our breakfast and would recommend giving them a go.

One word....UHHHHAMAZING!!! The pancakes are thick and fluffy. The eggs both poached and scrabbled were cooked perfectly. The bacon was crispy and the was coffee strong and they actually had real heavy cream. The owners are friendly and were nice enough to bring coloring books and crayons. Do not miss this place, it's a must go! We will be back everyday until we leave!!
