Le Tourne Au Verre - Cairanne

Haven’t been here for 12 months but always had a good experience so we was looking forward to tonight and while the food was still at a very high standard, we had the lamb and the beef, the service was absolutely terrible. The young man that found our reservation looked like he was either stoned or in another time zone and the young girl that served us was pleasant enough but very inexperienced. We had to ask for cutlery when our mains arrived (after seeing my lamb being escorted around the restaurant) and had to ask to ask again to get our wine when the mains were already on the table. Everyone has to learn but would suggest that more focus is put on the customers rather then your friends and that the service is an area of improvement. 130€ for two is not cheap for the area so if you want to maintain those prices, you will need to significantly improve the customer service. Great food and lovely place but service way below minimum standards.

Encore un de plus qui n 'a rien compris!!!! Ce resto était une pépite pour les habitués qui acceptaient volontiers de n 'avoir que 3-4 entrées, 3-4 plats principaux et la même chose en desserts. Sauf que le nouveau proprio n 'a pas vraiment compris le concept et les accompagnements (salades, légumes.. sont les mêmes sur les entrées que sur les plats principaux et là on passe carrément d 'un concept carte courte, plats du marchés à gros fainéants qui économisent un max. Pas de problème, on va remplir un max cet été. Mais quand les touristes seront partis????

The food was delicious, but it was a pity that the flanks were overcooked and curdled.

What a pretty setting, shaded terrace with beautiful trees and pretty flowers everywhere, very bohemian, I really like it. We eat well there and never the same thing, very good choice of wine, we saved winegrowers! The welcome is good, the smile is there, you feel good, it's a place that I recommend without hesitation. Value for money validated.
