Trattoria Leone - Caino

Small restaurant with one old room that needs a refresh, the dished offered in the work menu were too spicy. Until dinner I had many tastes replicated......

I 've seen other reviews, and everyone seems to have enjoyed this place. Sadly I cannot say likewise; The environment was really trattoria-like and the service was quick and helpful, but sadly the food wasn 't good enough: we ordered a garlic, olive oil and chilli spaghetti which basically was only pasta, without any other dressing. The salciccia ai ferri was really good, but typically you have 2 of them in one dish, not only 1. The other meat dish, though really good, was in scarse quantity as well. Granted, we didn 't pay a lot, but frankly we went off from this trattoria unsatiated. I understand this trattoria really shines during the special occasions but I 'm sad to say I couldn 't enjoy this place as much as others here did. I 'll try to return to check if I simply had bad luck this time.

If you re searching good food, you won't care too uch about the location. The chef is a charming character. Try the main offer, 20€ all included. Don't miss the homemade casoncelli, one of the best i've ever ate!
