Taglio Food&cocktail - Cagliari

We stayed for 5 days in Sardegna and this is really the best restaurant we visited! The food was so delicious we even ordered dessert (which was also delicious). The menu was in Italian and the owner has kindly translated everything for us. She was so welcoming and nice to us. Amazing experience!

Small and cozy in the inner, but also has a terrace outside. While the menu may not be extensive, there is something for everyone whether meat, fish or vegetarian. the dishes are not great portions, so they can really feel a 3 curs meal and not feel filled. eating is divine, we had a gaspacho with strawberry, celery and orange to begin truly refreshing; main courses were quail with speck and a carrot and ginger couli and didaki tuna with aubergine and tomaten. both were delicious. for dessert we had tiramisu espresso and had a goat cheese with chocolate nibs both went very well. the wine selection is great and they also have local craft beer on tap or through the bottle. service was excellent and veronica helped ask with any menu translation. the restaurant is also child-friendly.

Don 't judge a book by its cover. We came here without any expectations. We have a child who is quite difficult with food in general. We asked for chicken and pasta. The service was truly friendly to our child. Concerning our simple carbonara (remember.. no expectations) it was damned good. Really it is amazing. Indeed portions are not very big but still better have few and good than a lot and just common

Very underwhelming. Had an aperitif glass of white wine here; The owner’s own production and recommended by the waitress. It was fine but nothing special and at €6, about 50% more than I’ve paid elsewhere. It also came without a single peanut or crisp to accompany it. (Earlier at Tiffany’s I had crisps, nuts and sandwiches with the house white which was as good or better... and all for just €4. And the €4 change arrived as 8 x 50 cent coins. Must try harder!
