Pizzeria Cafe Del Lido - Cagliari

A hidden gem. Superb service with high end food and presentation. 1st floor views over the bay. What a Supprise. It was quiet, for Thursday night. Don't be put off. But it really needs to promote itself better. Excellent value.

Just had a very relaxed lunch here. Luckily I was forewarned about the Lido security so just asked him for directions to the restaurant and was show through. Beach was jumping but the restaurant was able to accommodate us no problem. As time went on quite a few other tables filled up, including one with 10 locals having lunch. Good but not huge selection of dishes including vegan, sushi, ceviche and beautifully cooked seafood. We had to wait for a second attempt being made to cook the chocolate dessert I had ordered but I was compensated for this. Being a typical monoglot Brit it was encouraging to hear the words “ I speak English” when we entered. This place should be on everyone’s “to do” list when visiting Cagliari.

We just had the most incredible meal here. Cannot get over how quiet the restaurant was given how amazing the food and service is. Chef went out of their way to make me a vegetarian starter. We had 3 courses and a bottle of wine and were treated to a complimentary amuse bouche and glass of prosecco. Beautiful food, lovely location right over the water and amazing staff. Cannot fault it at all. Weird location tucked inside a type of mall but well worth a visit.

Disinterested and rude service by staff who tried to ignore us. Then beer was then served in a clearly broken glass. So we ate elsewhere and didn't regret it. Our worst Sardinia experience Actually The only bad Sardinia experience

Amazing cuisine for reasonable prices! With a fantastic view for a romantic dinner. Thank you Vincent and the lady who gave us the table although it was so late. Great service!
