Old Friend Bistrot - Cagliari

Fantastic restaurant with amazing staff. We went for dinner and the experience was first class. The range of offerings is very impressive and it is a really creative menu. The staff, however, were truly first class and took an amazing amount of time in explaining the menu in English and also describing various wine options. The food would compare with the best restaurants in any city and I would thoroughly recommend this location.

Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante a chi desidera assaporare piatti grandi e particolari. Il locale è molto bello e accogliente, il personale attento e preparato. Il cibo è davvero delizioso e di ottima qualità, con un menu che segue la stagionalità degli ingredienti. Si può scegliere di ordinare alla carta oppure optare per un percorso di degustazione, accompagnato da vini al calice. Sicuramente tornerò! In allegato alcune foto dei piatti.

This restaurant was highly recommended by friends who also mentioned that their soundtrack may not be to our taste (and that would be correct). The service did make us feel like old friends...even though we would be parents of those friends...attentive and helpful. We enjoyed multiple dishes--all were good, though perhaps not memorable. I would certainly recommend and applaud the owners for their vision.

By far the best meal we had in Cagliari. Friendly, not overdone casual space with very good service. The food was creative but still very recognizable and accessible. More importantly, each of the courses had terrific flavor. Great value. You are not paying for frills. Highly recommended.

My most beautiful surprise in Cagliari. Even if the location is not the most beautiful, expect to have from the moment you enter, a beautiful experience. From the waiters who are extremely nice. And do their utmost best to explain you the menu and the wines. The wines which are very surprising (expect new tastes! and delicious. To the food which is creatively delicious!
