La Pagoda - Cagliari

One of the things I miss about no living in the UK is the occasional Chinese meal, so when visiting Sardegna and this place was near my hotel I had to give it a try. The interior of the restaurant is authentic tacky Chinese. The staff are miserable, never did a smile crack their faces. For starters I had spring roll, prawn toast and crispy seafood. The spring roll was very stodgy, toast very greasy and full of oil and the seaweed tasteless. Main courses, my wife had prawns in sauce. The prawns were still in their shells complete with heads and legs which made the dish virtually impossible to eat. I had a veal curry, which wasn’t too bad, but there was a very small amount of sauce and it was a very small portion. Rice was very stodgy. My wife had banana fritters which she said were ok, but she was starving. The meal was cheap and the wine was reasonable, but I left very disappointed.

Simply and economic restaurant, sushi and chinees food. Sushi made by Chef Angelo, wonderful. Open at 19:30 uur. Weekend need reservation.

A Chinese restaurant right in the centre of Cagliari with Chinese cuisine, cooked to the taste of Europeans. You won't find really spicy food here. However, the food is delicious and the service is good. I recommend bamboo with Chinese mushrooms. They also serve sushi here.

Very good Chinese food and clean restaurant! North Americans are not destroyed.

The decor is quite fascinating, especially the ceiling and stained-glass windows, the service is on a high leve, but the food was not as imposing, since it tastes plain and not sophisticated at all
