Pueblo Mio - Cafayate

This restaurant has a young lady to show you the promotion of the day which was BBQ goat and fried potatoes plus an empanada for AR$160 or US$10 per person. This seemed to be the only thing on the menu at this time of day. The potatoes were fine as were the empanadas but the goat was very fatty with lots of bone and not much meat.We did not return and cannot recommend this place.In the evening the young lady mentioned was having little luck enticing people into the restaurant from the park across the road. I wonder why?

We didn't have a full meal here because we were just looking for a snack. However, we have ordered a mixture of their empanades. We have traveled through S. America for several months, and these were up there with the best we cost.... The chicken was particularly delicious and juicy. We received free bread, which was also fresh and crusty, with a delicious diving sauce to go with it. The person who served us was exceptionally friendly and attentive.

Passing through the door we were invited by the Lorena and Paco mozos and they hooked us with their sympathy. We walked a little longer and went back to look for what we had been promised, pimps and flames and goats and flames. Liter and half jelly. They've recovered what they promised. Excellent food. Besides, Ricky and his speaker threatened dinner. The very economic price, 750 per person. I'm looking at a lot of negative evaluations now, luckily I haven't read them before. ..

We ordered a flame stew and grilled kid. We were not fascinated, but perhaps because of the lack of custom and the mistrust of an unusual flesh. Good service and normal place.
