La Estancia Restorant - Cafayate

It's not much to look at but when we saw all the locals eating there we knew something was up! The food was really hearty, plentiful and delicious! Very reasonable for the amount and quality of the grub!

The guy who attended us was very professional and friendly. The food we ordered was tasty and well presented cabrito con papas) Live music The night was cold but restaurant inside was warm!

The food is amazing and the staff friendly. The show was superb.

Out server was lovely but overall tourist menu is a scam. 'Empanadas ' to start 1 empanada Set main had the stew, was fairly nice, but some of the potatoes weren 't cooked through. 'Postre ' tinned peaches. You simply can 't state that you include a pudding then give a customer tinned peaches. Anyway I knew it would be pretty sh*te given its in a main square and one of the only places serving dinner before 8pm, if only I could wait that long to eat. Then I could go to a normal restaurant.

Food was very average. Service was poor. It took a while for our food to arrive.
