La Maison d'Italie - Caen

My wife and I went to this restaurant because it was very close to our hotel and we just arrived. We had a steak and my wife asked for a medium-bodied steak. The two steaks arrived very rare and we had to draw the attention of the waiters so that my wife would come back for a good preparation. When the steak came back, it was still rare and anyway, most was not edible because there were large areas of hard fat! We gave up trying to get a decent meal and we simply didn't go back.

We stopped here by chance, we found in addition to pizza Italian and French dishes you can then choose what to eat. correct pizza, good burgers, expensive prices but in average caen.

Everything is medium, the reception, the very familiar or even pedantic service, the pizzas (grasses!!!), the wine. only reason to stop there: opening on Sunday noon. Very bof so.

Friendly welcome. a little old. avoid pasta much too cooked. Good pizza. desserts to thrive. quality / price : too expensive !

Astonishing these a priori negative opinions on the service of the noon, we go there regularly for a few months, with family or with working relationships and we have always been well received, pizzas are good, risotto very well and their bologna escalope. Perfect. very good desserts, especially the tiramisu, to do without pb
