Holiday Burgers On The Lake - Cadiz

The restaurant has moved to a new location and is now called Captain Jim's Grill.

My experience at the local restaurant was disappointing. We ordered the 5oz burgers, but they were small in size. The hush puppies I ordered were frozen in the middle, so I asked for a new batch. The replacement hush puppies were quickly brought out, but they seemed to be refried and one was broken open. The staff claimed they had only opened it to check if it was cooked all the way through, but they tasted like refried food as well. Overall, it took over an hour and 15 minutes for us to receive our dinner.

I went to this restaurant with my family for a day out and had a terrible experience. Sherry was incredibly rude and condescending towards me and my children throughout our visit. I noticed her using her phone while taking my order, and then witnessed her scolding another employee for doing the same. This behavior made me realize that this was not the kind of establishment where I wanted to spend my money, especially considering they charged for a cup of water. Sherry should undergo retraining by the manager and learn how to treat customers with respect.

Food was hot and tasty!Servers could have been a little more attentive.

Food was great! Prices were reasonable! Great place to watch the wildlife and boats!
